    Matching subs and amps

Hey guys i am not the most knowledgeable dude when it comes to systems. I have always been able to get them to work in my vehicles but without proper understanding. Anyways i am just lioking for some input on my current setup to see if what i have is a decent pairing or if its an abomination lol. What i have is 2 mtx t8-44 dvc 4ohm subs and 2 jbl gtx500 mono block amps i have them independantly powered/wired 1(sub) to 1(amp). Like i said they work and they hit fairly decent but can someone who knows how to make sense of specs tell me if this setup of subs and amps is good or if its gonna end up in disaster? Id appreciate the hell out of anyones experienced outlook. Thanks

I think you have some missing numbers for subs. If it isn't mtx t8xx-44 (10,12 or 15), will need a link.

I don't see an issue running the two sub amps, assuming you match the output. Looks like a solid setup. And to the forum.
