    2-way diy speakers

I’m thinking about building a pair of towers for the man cave, and a pair for the TV in the bedroom. I have 4 Anarchy 7” 8 ohm on the way. I also have a pair of Aura NS3, and a pair of Tectonic BMR 2”. My question is whether you guys think I’ll need a tweeter with the NS3’s. I think the BMR’s will be fine without, but I’m not sure with the Auras. Thoughts?

What does the response graph say on the Aura's? If they play smoothly out to 20k you should be fine as long as you keep the speakers on axis. If all else fails you can get the ultra cheap but also ultra good (for the price) Dayton nd16 to play around with.
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

Looks like the Auras aren’t going to be able to keep up with the Anarchys. The bamboos should be fine. I’m now looking at Audible Physics 220-cp? at Newark.

For the price, I may just do another set of bamboos.

If the Tang Bamboo 3" could keep up with Clay's output requirements it should be fine for just about anyoneBut seriously, they can get ridiculously loud while keeping pretty good composure. Papa ran them for a while in his dash with good results from what I remember.

Have them in the pillars, now, with Anarchies in the doors.
