You might wanna check your facts. Assad isn't a sectarian dictator. In the case of Syria, the people's revolt has been co-opted by the radicals. If we help them, we are aiding hamas, the muslim brotherhood and al qaeda.

Never said you did. Was just playing a little bit of devils advocate, though in all seriousness I do have to agree with fric on the idea that if you are in Syria, Iran, Iraq, ect and you start calling out radicals you'll probably end up dead pretty quickly with no question asked. It's kinda the same scenario political distends faced in Nazi Germany, you eventually learn to keep your head down and your eye's, ears, and mouth shut.

Going to be interesting to see us decimate our young men proving we are "NO longer" a super power when they finally come for us !!
The new prez will carry on what the old prez started and finally we will have our ass handed to us .... end of story !
