    1.21 Gigawatts, I think.

XD400/4v2: rear fill. Bridged for now. 200w each. (14.4v spec)

The 12.5v input ratings bring it down to about 180w for tweeters, mids and rear fill and 360w for woofers.

    Didn't see mention of a sub/sub amp...?

Also, I've been saying this for a while now- those JL XDv2 amps are fantastic. I have been very impressed with them in Michelle's Corolla.

So hmm... tweets, mids, subs, rearfill... 8 channels?
You could even back off to an 8ch Helix also and add to the new-car-fund.

Not to mention itty bitty too.
    Install-friendly for sure.
Having heard that corolla, I'd say they certainly get the job done nicely.

Well, there's DSP in the works and if it pans out then I'll be selling the Helix. Will post details once I get more info.

Yea. I like the XD amps a lot. I used a 6 channel in my wife's civic for a while until we sold it. I was surprised by it. With the new build, it makes total sense going with the XD's. I'll be wiring up 3 amps simplifies things for me because I can use one less power distro block. (if I had used 4 HD amps I would have needed another power distro for the Power Supply) And the only place I have less power is with the woofers (400 instead of 750w). Mids/tweeters/rear-fill all have 30-50w more.

If he had a nickel for every time he heard this, he'd have a new car by now

But on a serious note, I was wondering if the power supply simply runs the system, or does it also charge the battery?
