Analogy for a subwoofer unloading , a vehicle in neutral or park. Floor it, there is `no load` , it will sound GREAT until the rpms reach the red line, then the motor blows!

BCAE or basic car audio and electronics will essplain filters ?
The slope of the cross over attenuates the output .
Slopes are 6 , 12 , 18 , 24 , et cetera .
The steeper the slope the sooner the lack of output or attenuation .

would these work??? https://www.amazon.com/FMOD-Crossove...2FRW921EKCVTFT
What radio do you have? If it has flexible crossover adjustments, could use the subwoofer settings to control your upper cutoff, or LPF, then use the HPF of the amp turned all the way down to 30Hz to create a pretty basic subsonic filter.
Are you not entertained?!?!
Yup! Those will work. your ZA will give you 500 watts bridged on that sub and Al figured, 8 or so inch length gets you around 35 hZ for both holes (2 1/2)with about 6 dB bump around 60 hZ frequency (I Think).
A lil bit longer on the port tubes will drop the tuned frequency down .
Your Fmods will go in between the head unit and the amplifier , RCA's

It's a Kenwood KDC-118 and yes it has an bass adjustment on it that ranges from 60Hz-200Hz Mid adj that ranges from .5KHz-2.5KHz and Tre adj that ranges from 10.0 KHz-17.5KHz. Also volume offset range -8 to 0, Loudness off 1 & 2.. and Bass Boost off 1 & 2.....
OK correct me if I'm wrong but the SSF should be set a half octive above the 35 Hz The enclosure is tuned to. which should be 52.5 Hz OR 17.5 Hz
You're confusing me telling me to set my HPF to 30Hz as you can see it only goes down to 60Hz

Ahhhh... my idea won't work then.

Dsaulen0902,
If you are using ch 1&2 for subwoofer , the switch should be set to LPF and then start out around 80 hZ .
If you are using ch 3&4 for front speakers set the switch to HPF and start around 100 hZ.
You will need to listen to a song you know extremely well ( your favorite ). Does it sound the way you know that it should ?
