Are you still doing 8 Ball customs, or did something change? On the other site, your shop name is listed as Malibu's Auto Center.
Beautiful work, is the speaker adapter layers of 1/4"?

Yeah, I'm still doing 8 Ball Customs, I haven't changed everything I'm a member on yet. Hell, I left Malibu's about 2 1/2 years ago.

The speaker baffles are a single layer of expanded PVC. I'm absolutely in love with the stuff.

I know this is an old thread, but I just wanted to thank you for it as I am about to embark on an install on a 2015 Sonata.

I had a 2013 Sonata (which was a great car) and if you're able I'd STRONGLY suggest doing an IB install with your subs. Heck, if you can find JBL GTO's like the OP has I had one in mine and LOVED it!

Unfortunately, Since trunk space is needed for other items and I do not want to risk anything rolling around damaging the woofers, I plan on doing a Spare Tire Well sub install/False floor with either a single Audiofrog G10 sub or 2 Pioneer 10s. Should be able to get enough airspace for the dual 10s, but the single 10 would be an easier option.
