What sub are you using? I have a pair of Eclipse 88150.4 SVC 15's for sale, if you can use them.

I have an Audiomobile elite 12 now. Thanks for the offer, I'm going to try to stay with a single 12. Trying to talk myself in to a 10...but that's not going to happen. Id like a little more output and kick than what mine currently has. I'm looking forward to getting this tune done. As it sits now, leaves a lot to be desired.

I've heard nothing but good things about your sub choice. Let us know how you like it. My local Audiomobile dealer sure thinks highly of them.
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

Ok, ending back next Thursday to have Benny tune this thing and some odds and ends finished up. Question though...the factory location where the mids are is a small enclosure in the door. Would it be better to cut the back of the enclosure out? Think it's way too small, and the mkii's are supposed to use more of the whole door as an enclosure if I read it right for optimal performance. what do you guys think, cut the back of the factory enclosure out, or no?

I'd cut it at least as wide as the speaker itself

Yeah, open it up if you can ( is speaker vibrating door/panel/metal outer skin , et cetera ). If the mounting of the driver is ' deadened ' it will help . Wood baffle or cutting board baffle , little bit of non - hardening clay , etc..,

Well... made it back out had the sails finished up twk88 wired up, and the tune. I have to say, I didn't think it would ever sound this good! Benny Z did the tune and absolutely killed it! He's a super cool guy and is beyond knowledgeable, and gets it done fast. The vocals are centered, mirror height, sub blends and bass is all up front, healing parts to songs that I'd never heard. . I never thought my car would sound this good. Especially with just a simple two way. Now down the rabbit hole...need a helix and more hahaha. But seriously I'm ecstatic with it. If anyone needs a tune or work done ...please do yourself a favor and get a hold of Ben Zimmerman for the tune, and Mobile Audio Plus.
