I'm not sure, but this iPad will be charging, so that won't be an issue. The iPad is mainly for the gauges and the display for the stupid Sony radio. It will be Bluetooth audio only to the Sony. The main source will be his iPhone through the rear USB, and the front DAC.

Gotcha. Mine is on a charger also. The music app itself nets virtually zero battery loss, it's almost exclusively Pro. I would keep an eye on it. I made the mistake of not paying attention - once - and went dark cruising on I20 in DFW traffic for an hour after the tablet ran out of juice. Would not recommend.

After a few hours of filling, sanding, filling, sanding, filling and sanding, this is what the finished product will look like. Still needs a round or two of filler now to be painted, but you get the idea.
All this is to relocate the Sony radio from the dash to the center console.

    Round one.

    After round one of sanding.

    Round two.

    After round two of sanding.

After round three of filling and sanding. Pretty happy with the shape of it at this point.

    Fitment is looking good too.

No, it's directly behind the cup holder and in between the two front seats. There's a tiny little console there that's actually not big enough for a din sized radio, unless saws and patience are used.

    Chef's Scion xB 2.0

Howard didn't like the way the Audison fuse/distro looked and asked me if I could do something that looked nicer, so, I did this.....

He went with an Arc Audio PS8 for a processor. I located it opposite the fuse/distro I made under the rear seats.

These next few pictures are taken from the hatch and the rear seats aren't installed. You will never be able to see this shot with them installed. I think it's pretty dang cool looking.
