Well, technically, it ALL "unnecessary." lol

If I weren't going to install everything like I wanted to compete in Install, I could have just run my wires and been done with it.
But I figured I could get some of the heat shrink and stuff from my original order later...then I realized I removed some of the Techflex off the order
that I actually needed (1/4" doesn't fit over my speaker wire.) So I ordered the rest of the stuff I cut off the order in the first place.

Now I'm looking for a label tabe that is preferably blue on black, but I'll settle for black on blue.

eAsy Fabrication Products has a label product coming, but it's not available yet. So I guess I'll bust out the pTouch and make my own.

I have a Pearlabel 360 which can print all different sized labels and heat shrink. They carry black ink on blue label, but only white ink on black label.

I had thought about it, and I looked at one of their other printers, but $40 for 8 feet of heat shrink seemed pretty pricey.
And I needed something that would go over 1/0...so like 1" -1.5" and that meant a much more expensive printer.

I'm going to use my P-Touch (probably do white on black) and then ultra clear heat shrink over it.

Jay is correct, we've been working on some labels and we currently have sheets that look like this:

Our plan is not to offer "cut sheets" like this, but I can't disclose what we are doing just yet... but things are about to get easier.

Here are some other graphics we are working on, much more to come... sorry to thread jack Jay.

I make the things that go bump in the night...

I like that, Dave...but I suggest that on the fractional-to-decimal graph, you change to a standard font such as Arial. Some of those numbers are hard to read.

What do you mean "cut sheets?" I was under the impression you'd be able to order a sheet with everything on it, then just peel off the ones you need.
Curious to see what you guys come up with.

Also, thanks for the video on how to use the Circ Center, Dave. I will be ordering one (or making one until I can afford one, lol) and using that technique to make the rings around my subs.

OK. Thanks to Steve, I picked up some 3/4" square tubing and some 3/4" flat stock to begin my amp rack. I need that done, so I can determine RCA lengths.
I might have to look into some connectors (weather pak or Deutsch) for the speaker wires, so the whole rack can be removable easily....but I'll probably skip that aspect for now.

Will be keeping an eye out for those labels, I cannot tell you the number of times I have stood looking into the trunk, holding a speaker wire and wondering is that front and did I use the stripe as positive or negative...
