    Notloudenuf's home office update

My wife works from home. So one of our spare bedrooms has been her office since we moved in 16 years ago.
The office consisted of an old Sauder desk I got when I moved away for college, a lateral file and some homemade shelving made from flat pack bookshelves.
I don't have any before pictures that I can fine currently. Here is a picture of the desk and a bit of the shelves. Sorry/not sorry for kitten

The plan was to use the Lowe's semi-custom cabinets like we used in our kitchen remodel (see post on this website for that) The problem we couldn't get it exactly like we wanted. One company had the upper cabinets we wanted but couldn't get the base cabinets right. The next company had the base but didn't have appropriate uppers. So I said screw that let's see if full custom is the way to go. Well turns out it was! Worked with a guy that ironically lives 3 miles from me and we got exactly what we wanted for about $2k less than what we were going to settle for at Lowe's.
    Here are some finished pictures

    as they showed up
