Small step, but took a bit of time. If you've owned a Tacoma or seen behind the seat of one, the center seat bracket protrudes backward into the space where a sub enclosure would sit. After removing the bracket and introducing it to the Sawzall, it is two pieces.
Little bit of cutting and welding, you get this. Don't judge my welding, I am a hobbyist LOL.
The bracket now goes forward and secures to the seat belt bolt and the rear-most bolt hole just above the "Y" shaped shadow is where the portion of the bracket I cut off used to bolt down. Now the space behind the seats will be wide open for enclosure construction. This will get painted with a gloss Enamel since. I'd powder coat it, but the seat pivots might seize if I do that.
