That's a beautiful set up with that boat behind the Jeep, man! Hope you get the quirks out of your system soon!

Problem solved. Had to rip everything out and go back in piece by piece. Already sounds great with just crossovers set and tweets pulled down some to blend. Time to wave the magic wand around in here to make my neighbors wonder wtf I'm doing in here
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

I need to get in there with the mic and take some measurements so I can go to town on l/r eq. All I have are the SB woofers and Seas aluminum tweets playing with roughed in levels set and two cuts in the usual areas with the FIX eq. No time alignment set yet. I can already tell this mid/tweet combo is meant to be together. Pretty neutral sound with a lot of detail. Let's just hope it plays nice with tuning. I'm a little concerned about the drivers side tweeter firing directly at the hump over the dash cluster and I put a thick dash mat in there. I didn't feel right letting that black dash bake in the sun unprotected.

Go ahead Chris.......looks like she's coming together nicely! Glad you figured your setup quirks out quickly.......

Oh, and when I'm measuring I'm glad for my lack of neighbors wondering wtf?........lmao.

    Neighbors...

I still remember being in my garage one night listening to "Beat It" with the garage doors closed. My neighbor across the street, who is a good sport, texted me and said "is that your theme song?"

    And we're a good 100yds apart. LOL.

The only neighbors I worry about are the ones that live in the rent house about 100 yards up the hill. My neighborhood is strange where in a half mile stretch it goes from half million dollar homes to singlewides not fit to live in. Bad part is...I'm related to some of the more shady people! On a good note, having to pull the box and rack out will allow me to route some wires in a better way. And a Helix p-six will make a lot of sense in this install when money gets right. Will let me replace three pieces of equipment with one unit.

Wide spot in the road just outside of the Little Rock city limits known as "Pinnacle". My family settled this land fresh off the boat from Germany. Great great grandparents.

I named my first born Andreas , he has same name as founder of where her family lived . My wife's great great grandfather got off boat and walked to area he set up his family in.
