Mazda CX-3 Build - SQ oriented

This is a build I did last year, but I don't remember posting on here... So in the interest of more action on CAJ, here goes:

Beautiful 3/4", 13 ply, void free, BB/BB, baltic birch plywood... Chopped up and ready to be assembled.





I decided to build a face plate thingy that would hold the DAP, MiniDSP remote, bass knob and an extra USB for charging... Fiio X3 2nd gen, MiniDSP 6x8

Here is where it will go



Made a template and then cut it out of stainless steel



Bent it to shape

Wrapped it in vinyl and made a back plate to hold everything in...




Cut the trim piece out of aluminum and painted it gloss black





Turned out ok!

GB10s needed a little pod to go on the dash in the factory location

PVC and stainless steel epoxied together

The doors speakers and sound deadener... GS60s













I replaced all the door clips with the green ones with the foam rings to reduce rattles between them and door sheet metal...

JL 10TW3s in 1.32 cuft



Zapco ST amps, Stinger 8000 rcas







I put some GS40s in the back for rear fill

I didn’t know you had a CX3 David. A Trackhawk or is that Trailhawk is going to be a huge step up.
