    Pioneer AVIC-8100NEX

    Info:

    Pioneer AVIC-8100NEX

This unit was bought directly from Pioneer last month as a refurbished unit. It showed up with a cd mechanism issue which I had repaired. I just got this back yesterday direct from Pioneer. I bench tested it to make sure it's fine and all is working as it should.

The reason I'm selling is because I have decided to keep my P99 and I want to keep with the theme of the McIntosh amp and single din meters up front.

The 8100nex is a beautiful unit with a lot of nice features. It has a capacitive touchscreen which makes the display really stand out. It has (2) USB inputs on the back. Apple carplay built in and will control both the iPod classic (which is a huge feature I loved). I connected both my iPod classic (5th gen, to be specific) and my iPhone at the same time on the bench and it worked great. iPod in USB1 and iPhone in USB2. It does 4v output without clipping. No noise.

Like I said, I really like this headunit but the whole 'theme' of the install works better with the p99/McIntosh meters up front.

    Condition of all items:

Refurbished but unused. Only bench tested. Comes in factory box with manual, harnesses, remote, manuals, etc.

    Total Price:

    I paid $695 shipped.

I'm looking to sell quickly so am asking only $650 shipped, CONUS.

    Shipping Terms:

    On me.

Agreed. I can't get over how much better this screen looks than my AVH-X2700BS. If this had the same internal processing as mine I'd get it based on the screen quality.
It doesn't have the same internal processing......does it??

as far as I know you just lose the 3way capability. It seems all the units with android auto drop 3way. I have the kenwood 9903s and it is only 2way. I have my pioneer 4700 sitting on the bench with its 3way capabilities.
I really like the android auto functionality

It says 6 channel outputs..... don't know if what you need is only with the autotune; but I was bored, so here-

I've got an offer for $600 but really need to get a bit more. I'll drop my asking price to $630 shipped.

    Friday payday bump.

If someone doesn't mind paying as PayPal 'gift', I'd knock the price down to $600 shipped here. That's nearly $100 less than I paid a month ago.
