What do y'all think of these for IB baffle duty?

It sounds like the woofer is noisy but I assure you that is the pole vent blowing on the vinyl seat it was resting on. The woofer itself is absolutely silent except for the suspension and that doesn't become apparent until this thing was reaching over 1" of excursion.
I believe it would do every bit of 2 1/2" mechanical and probably remain under Xmax for half of that.

Think I'm gonna pull the trigger on a pair soon.

I wonder where all these new subs come from, can't be that many places that make them. I guess people make their own specs and have a build house somewhere make them

Tantric builds all their subs on site by hand. The owner (CAJ member "Tantric Sounds") does all the builds. I've personally watched him build dozens of subs and his voice is one of the ones in the background of this vid.

He was once an avid SQ competitor and didn't care for the subjectiveness.
