    Cool Central/North AL GTG

    BigAl's Big Birthday Bash!

I would like to invite everyone over to check out the new garage, listen to some cool audio systems, hang out and cut up with your friends, and help me celebrate my Birthday. We will probably also have a pre-meet and tuning session the night before.

The place: My house in Hayden, AL (about 25 miles north of Birmingham)
    The date: Saturday, November 12
    The time: 9AM to 9PM

    Optional things to bring:
    - your favorite demo music
    - a folding chair
    - a camera
    - Tools and tuning equipment
    - a friend
    - a canopy

I'm open for suggestions on what we can get for lunch. I'm leaning towards barbecue, but grilling is an option.

I hope to see you there!

Well I ain't gonna have squat to show off at the meet unless you wanna hear the factory 10 speaker system in a Grand Cherokee. Actually doesn't sound half bad as long as the bass is turned down. Still goes BLAT BLAT BLAT at the levels I listen to while driving. Damn auto loudness! One reason for this is I've been having a conversation with Karma (what I named my badass new ride) and she said she wanted her upgraded system to be simple and classy while being non-invasive. My Audible Physics midbass and tweets probably won't come together in a 2-way without the Ram 6 getting above its happy zone. And the tweet is only good down to about 4khz. I know for a fact that the Audiofrog gb10 will drop right into my sails as an oem replacement. May as well get the matching 6.5" to go with it. And will probably go with the Helix p-six behind the JL Fix to run the whole show. Might try to do something with my ID8 in the oem sub enclosure. I still like good sound but just not into it like I used to be. With all that said, I'm about to make one massive for sale thread!
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

I'll just be driving down to hang out and shoot the breeze with people I've known forever, and with some new folks too. I'm about to post a bunch of stuff for sale so if any of you want any of it I'll cut an in-person discount.

Out of all the meets I've been to this will be the first one where I haven't had something non-stock for people to listen to. Guess I'll be "that guy" at the meet this time. Still letting ideas marinate for the new sled. Y'all are welcome to weigh in your ideas too.
