That's cool! I actually have a Subaru 1-din pocket with a push-flip cover I've thought of using though the pocket space is kinda small. The cover gives it a clean look.

Looking good. What filler did you use?

I used Polyflex filler and used some poly primer brushed on. Didn't work as well as I hoped because there were a lot of air bubbles. You can still see some in the finish which I may go back on correct later. Just a matter of giving it a light sanding, spray a few thick coats of poly primer and then sand smooth and finish.
