Some people commented on YouTube, debating between painting the blocks black, I don't think it's a huge deal, input?

I would either leave it white, or wrap it in some contrasting color. You could remake them out of frosted acrylic

A matte black would help hide them a bit, but yeah as is I'd say they're ok.. Everything else is black so I say go for it.

    Updates time!

I made a cool little Fuse holder bracket out of ABS for the front fuse near the battery.

For getting the factory signal from the radio I am using Speedwire, here's a video explaining what it is and what it is used for:

Next up I needed to run all the wiring for the amps, DSP, and speakers. This video covers that whole process:

I was able to finish the wiring install without getting caught by any of the OEM zip ties too! I couldn't believe how poorly cut some of them were on the factory wiring, I wonder why they even bothered!

The Jeep is notorious for having a sound bar that rattles and doesn't sound all that great when adding aftermarket speakers. In this video I address those issues with some different sound treatment methods that could be used for any vehicle:

Love them! It is impressive how much power they pack for such a small little package.

I know you hear this a million times, but thanks again for all of the video tutorials! It certainly makes DIY look attainable for us that aren't installers, don't work in the business professionally, and will probably only do a couple systems in our lifetimes. I think your videos will probably save me a couple grand altogether...
