Re: BigAl205's 2015 Ford Explorer XLT

Well, for those of you who haven't been keeping up with my garage build, here's the link http://www.caraudiojunkies.com/showt...-s-Garaj-Mahal. It's pretty much been taking up all my time, money, and energy...but now that it's weather-tight, I'm getting in the mood to get back to the car audios.

It's funny, I've been driving around with my door panel off for months now. I put the handle back on just so passengers can open the door for themselves, but it looks rater ridiculous. It does, however, give you a sense of how much space I have behind the factory grill

I was curious what it would take to build a small enclosure that could be mounted to the door skin itself, so I took the handle mechanism off and mounted it directly to my worktable

Next, I used some of the foam board I had to contour the sides of the enclosure

It's just a shell to get started with. I can make it any size I really want, but both mid and tweet will go there.

Thanks, Kendal. I've been meaning to get a round tuit for quite some time.

What!? Just yesterday you were saying you couldn't find a path for the wire. What happened?

Oh. And congrats! Time to get to work! Need that FG stuff back?
