It's a little 3.5" speaker, supposed to be just a midrange, whereas the outer dash speakers are midrange and tweeter.

That's subaru's patented imaging star, world renowned I tells ya!

I "think" but am not sure, but believe Kyle Ragsdale (dunno if he's in here) is rockin' a pair of Scan 10F's in the dash spots of his Outback.. Might be the same dash. All complete speculation there. NICE Legacy! That spare tire spot looks very ample and inviting.

looks exactly like my stock dash "tweeters". With little to no cutting, you can fit some hertz mille 3"s in those locations. with some cutting, you can fit some 4"s. Either way, you will need to make new grilles.
