Those are cool work stands. I need to check those out.

Looks like everything fits as it should.

Not impressed with the spiral upcut bits, first router bit I've ever broken and it never seemed to work any better than the straight bits I've always used.

At least my jigsaw cuts a decent circle.

Still playing around with the layout, may still look for smaller amps or at least a single smaller sub amp.

I may have missed it but what was the reason for not using the JBLs?

Enclosure size mostly, I was able to go from a 6.5 ft enclosure to one that's about half the size. Second reason was that I really like them and with as hard as I was running them I was afraid they wouldn't survive the abuse. Went with the mags mostly because they were cheap, shallow enough to mount facing up so they fit inside the smugglers box and the smaller enclosure requirements. They also have 5x the xmax the jbl's had.

    Got the hu swapped today.

Got the subs mounted and box in place.

    Did the big 1 upgrade.

They're plastic but the knob does have a thin coating that feels somewhat rubbery.

I'll be honest, I dont think dual gets enough credit. I had some of their tweeters-1 inch silk dome. Not bad for what they were. They liked a 4500hz crossover but were smooth. I like what youre doing.

I've been happy with the one I've had in my other car for over a year. It does everything I want, Bluetooth, front and rear usb, sd card, works with steering wheel controls and plays mp3, aac and wav files all for $80. Only thing extra I'd like is for it to play flac files but I usually just convert them to wav files.

Didn't have any packing peanuts but I did have a bucket of dog food.

Enclosures ended up a bit smaller than planned so I had to leave the port sticking out a little. Not a big deal since it won't be seen when I'm done.
