Thread: '86 El Camino Build

    Re: '86 El Camino Build

Kind of a pain drilling a hole parallel to the bottom of the box into the slanted face. Stuck at this point until I can get some help putting it in to test fit it and measure the last piece.

Shooting for a 30hz or so tuning frequency but not quite sure how to figure the length since the end of the ports will be cut at an angle to match the front of the box but a couple hz either way shouldn't make much of a difference.

Paid a visit to my friends shop and picked up a Mosconi 6to8v8 for a price that I couldn't refuse to replace the 360.3 along with a couple subs to set aside for future projects. Illusion C12's and what looks like a C12xl with a paper cone but not sure exactly what it is.

Measuring right down the middle of port would be my suggestion [ ex. 4 " tube ( two inches ) if the end of pipe is cut at 45 degree angle .
