Heh. I'm not a parent (not yet, hope to be one day). I too did those things Chad (amongst others) and I too disagree with overprotectiveness. Having said that, I've seen some really gruesome images that haunt me when it comes to child safety. This, combined with the fact I'm in the restaurant business and have playrooms installed certainly plays its role in me sometimes being pedantic over child safety.
