The amp is wired up and everything is playing. I made this little flush mount trim panel today. I had the pegboard and I figured maybe the holes will help some heat escape that solid plywood may not. I'm going to find some carpet to cover it maybe tomorrow.

The carpet matches pretty good. The shop light makes it look a little off.

Re: 2005 Ford Escape (Proposed Build Log)

I finally made time to tune this thing today. I spent about 2 hours in the driveway; flipping polarity, adjusting gains, adjusting crossovers, and finally measuring for time alignment. It is truly amazing how much difference time alignment makes in a car stereo. I am extremely happy with this system. There are still some rattles and buzzes however. These doors aren't as heavy as my Milan doors were. All in all I love this thing. I have really missed a proper stereo in a vehicle for entirely too long.

Thanks to everyone for your encouragement and friendly jabs throughout this painfully slow build.
