Out of curiosity, are you running new wires into the doors? I have a friend with an '06 Escape who wants me to run all his wires (including speaker wires) and I was pretty sure there are molex plugs in the door jambs.

    Thanks.

    Jay

Thanks guys. I have had no motivation to do anything to this car for so long, but I do one little thing and get some encouragement from you all and now I'm getting excited to work on it more. Thanks!!!

I will be running new wires into the doors. I have not done that yet. When I take off the drivers door panel tonight I'll see if I can get any pictures of a molex plug (if it exists)
I do know that on the door side the wires running into the door are in a bundle through the metal. I'm hoping they are the same way on the kick panel side.

Woohoo, glad you're feeling motivated! I want, more than you think, for you to have a system to enjoy and share with others. I know you enjoy the listening, and I remember the work from the old ride, so I know you can do it!

I got the final midbass in the driver's door.

To answer Jay's question; Yes, there is a molex plug on the kickpanel side of the rubber boot.

Here are a few pictures from the meet on Saturday.

Erin was kind enough to spend a few minutes listening to the abomination that was being called a "tune". He spent 15 minutes making some adjustments and it sounds worlds better than before. The ride home was much more enjoyable. Thanks Erin!

Sub install is up next. Stay tuned.
