Thanks for the heads up chad, I'm going to be keeping it at of slightly above it's factory crossover point. But maybe it would be a good idea to put an inline fuse on them.

Maybe, depends on how much work I can get done this summer and when we find a new house.

Well since the snow has mostly melted and temps are once again well above freezing the magnum is not only out on the road but is getting a bath.

    Just entering the wash

    Drying off.

    And looking sexy.

Seeing as things have finally settled down for the time being, I took some time today to start the first stage of deadening the magnums doors and trunk. I only put the deadener on the inner face, will get a layer on the inner cavity once I install the PPI 3 ways. Though I will say even with just the layer on the inner skin I'm pleased. The rattly boomy sound of the stock drivers at higher volumes has really been toned down. While they still aren't amazing they definitely sound better. Can't wait to hear it with the doors fully done and the PPI's.

and I forgot to get one of the trunk but every where but the area where the spare and bat sit has been covered, the other portion will be done once I get the FG and resin for the sub enclosure.

and after all that I still have 3 1/4 boxes left of deadener.

Was able to do a little bit of work on the Magnum today and I mean a little. Removed all the worthless junk from the back (spare, jack, ect) and did a final mock up placement of the gear before I start glassing next week.

look at all that space now that I pulled that sorry excuse for a spare out.

trying to figure out how I want the amps placed since the sub placement is kinda set for me. Also I think I may be nixing the idea of putting the harmony in that old Reference SX chassis I have don't know if I have the space to lay it out like I would like.

I could put the SS Harmony DSP (possibly in the Reference SX chassis) and distro blocks on the left side of the sub or...

Would place the Harmony between the 2 amps (sans SX chassis ) and put the distro blocks and whatnot above the battery thus shortening the runs from the battery to the blocks and keeping them in there own little isolated spot. Or put the harmony in the SX chassis to the left below the 5.1000 and put the distro blocks in between the amps and maybe do a little beauty panel above the battery with the gear brands or some shit.
