Thine tower is tremendous!
Will you now be refereeing volleyball games inside your garage, or is that for the lifeguard at your indoor garage pool? lmfao Awesome idea and nice execution, Al!
I finally got power hooked up and a good portion of the wiring ran
Attachment 5293
High bay lights installed
Attachment 5294
One of them is wired so two bulbs burn as a security light
Attachment 5295
Here they are both on fully
Attachment 5296
I stll have plenty of outlets to install, but at least I'm no longer running everything off an extension cord.
Those LED lights work terrific. I set up 2 of the double bulb 4 footers in my 2 car garage and it lights it up reeeally well. Allows me to see much better during the day and night in there for working. Pretty cheap too considering.
Do you have lifts above your workbench area? If not, I recommend you at least consider it. I have often wished I had some installed right above the area where my workbenches are. That extra light could be useful.
Thanks, guys! The bulbs are actually T5 fluorescent...I looked at the LED version but they cost over twice as much. I don't actually have a work bench built yet, just some lumber on sawhorses and a folding table. All that is coming with time (and money), and yes, there will be lights directly over it.
Everyone I know who has switched to LED curses at themselves for not doing it sooner. That alone says the price is worth it.
Yeah I've been contemplating that myself. I wonder how different the current draw is.. I'd love to bump up the powa in the install-hot-mess-bay.
