Looking for High Res DSP options
Hi all,
My PS8 will not take higher than 48kHz over toslink with the new firmware/tuning software. I bought it cause they advertised that it will play 192 kHz audio. I know my RF 360.3 is in the same boat capped at 48 kHz. I'm looking for what DSPs out there can handle 192kHz/24 bit audio files over toslink. There has to be some brand out there that can do it. I have a Sony Home Stereo receiver from the early 90's that can play 192kHz/24 bit audio over toslink just fine. That's roughly 25 years of age and can play those files. So I'm looking for options. Here's my priorities in order.
1. 192 kHz/24 bit audio over toslink
2. Minimum 8 channels output
3. Tuning software fairly user friendly
Thanks in advance guys.

Maybe Brax or Zapco?
Yeah even my Helix Pro-2 is limited.

Re: Looking for High Res DSP options
The Zapco looks like it is capable but they haven't enabled anything past 96 kHz. I'll reach out to them for more info. Thanks Scott.
Re: Looking for High Res DSP options
Yeah I guess they've still not gotten these things near market yet.
It has been quite a while now.. Me suspects vaporware.

I am pretty sure the Mosconi 6to8 Aerospace or 8to12 Aerospace will fit the bill. Here is the link to the 8to12 (I couldn't get the 6to8 to pop up):

Re: Looking for High Res DSP options
Zapco replied to my request for info and I will be getting their new DSP late this October when it comes out. It's slated to have an i2s port so DSD file support and full functionality from the SMSL DAC.
