The long screw theory seems to be the most plausible one.
Initially, I had proposed for the buyer to ship it to united radio for a third party expertise...
That is when he reacted like Linda Blair to holy water, in the exorcist. I was now the bad guy/scammer, trying to pin this on him.
Long story short, it cost him close to $150 to take my Eclipse out on a joy ride.

Just curious if you still have it? I have a CD7000 (Top of the line unit from 2 yrs prior. Looks essentially identical) that after 11 years of use is starting to show it's age. Any interest in selling if you do? I'm not an idiot like that guy btw[emoji6], and I am in the lower 48 if that helps at all.
