First of all, I want to thank everyone who has donated money, product, and time to the forum. Your effort has really helped me with the costs associated with running the site. Whenever the coffers started running low, you guys always come to the rescue...but I've just always felt uncomfortable asking for more donations. Any future contributions will be greatly appreciated, but I've discovered another way that guy guys can help support the site, and it won't cost you an additional dime.

I recently signed up with a link affiliation program called VigLink/Sovrn. If you visit a site thru the links listed below, it places a cookie on that session, and if you decide to buy something, CAJ gets a small sales commission. Most commissions are paid when an actual sale is made, where others generate a few cents just from the link being clicked. An even simpler way would be to bookmark the links, that way every time you use the link, we get a commission. It doesn't add anything to the cost, you help the community, and we don't get or store any individual sale information.

BTW...some ad-blocking programs and script-blockers may cause the affiliate links to not work, so you may have to disable it on CAJ alone.

Depending on the site, the cookie is good for 1 to 3 days...as long as you don't link from some other site which would overwrite the cookie.

VigLink pays after 60 days, so I finally got paid commission from stuff bought during Christmas. It's not a whole lot, but every bit helps the cause.

If I were to add items in my cart. Then go to CAJ some later time and click on the link (example sonic) would you get the credit? Because if I add items to my cart, once I click on your link, it takes me to SE and all the previous item are already in my cart? Just wonder, because I something add items over time then make one purchase. Don't know if my question makes sense.

I honestly don't know for sure. I think the cookie gets applied at checkout

Done, had to order a bunch of stuff from Amazon this morning and remembered seeing this post a couple weeks ago. Made sure to use the link at the top, no idea how much you get out of it, but hopefully something!!

With everybody ordering presents to the holidays, I just wanted to bump this back to the top. Simply use the links from the "Store" tab up top (or bookmark them), and each sale creates affiliate revenue for the site. It doesn't cost you anything more than the time it takes to click a couple of links, and it helps keep Car Audio Junkies the best site on the interwebz.

You really should of posted this before Thanksgiving. I've already spent my 1000s online :pout:

It's okay, I need to redo the whole page. Several links are dead (Sears, Toys-R-Us), and I have some new ones that I think everybody will like.

I've update the links on the first page. We now have more affiliate stores than ever.
