New car needs new wheels BAD!
So, my GMC truck is gone and replacing it is a 2013 Scion xB. It needs new wheels really bad, steelies and hubcaps just don't cut it! So here are some pictures of the wheels I am considering, help me choose! I LOVE the 5 spoke look, so I am gonna stick with that, but there are subtle differences in the wheels that can make or break the look. Any and all input is welcome. If you know of a wheel that might look better, post a pic.

Lowered and cambered, with 1, 5 or 9.

Pretty soon if anyone ever wants to buy a vehicle they can just ask Glenn for a review, he is being close to having owned them all.

I went for 6 because it's just a BIT more aggressive with out being too over the top and I hate double spokes...... Because they are a bitch to clean :D
Can't talk my kid into doing it anymore :(

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
You guys are narrowing down to the same ones I am. Chad, the double spoke cleaning may changed my mind LOL

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
I'd opt for either 8 or 12. I can't talk though, as I have a multi spoke alloy on a celica gt4 and I think it looked better than the original wheels that were on it when I got it. :)

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
#2, or #8. Although #6 isn't too bad...

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
I voted 5 or 8. I think the wheels need to be "solid looking" and not busy.
Easy to clean is another bonus. Unless you are a masochist.

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
I voted 5 and 12. I'm not a big fan of split spoke 5 spokes on smaller cars. They can look nice with bigger wheel sizes, but I prefer the straight up 5 spokes.

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
Nice, seems that the wheels I like the most are getting the votes!
-
Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
Remember, I painted my wheels pink.... :fuckinggay: Take that into account when you're considering my opinion. ;)

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
I voted three....but the numbers are confusing. The second pic is the one I like. I think for the car the rest have a performance look that belies the nature and capabilities of the ride. Of course, I feel the look of the wheel should blend with the car, not look out of place there......just my 2¢…

^^There's a man with good taste in wheels

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
6 is my favorite of the bunch. Always preferred more slender spokes anyway. Would have been funny if you would have put the rims with hearts in them on the list as a joke just to see how many votes they got.

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
The only problem that I have with #5 is that it's too flat (for lack of a better term). I think it needs some sort of lip or edge to break up the face. If this spokes were inset just a bit, I think it would be a winner.

I agree,I like simple and clean which usually gives an understated performance look.

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
LOL, yeah that's a great idea, it's hard to believe they make wheels with hearts and flowers carved out of them!

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
That's the only thing keeping me from choosing that one full out.
Here's a pic of an xB with those wheels on it.

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
Those are nice, I just can't take all the engraving on he lip. Otherwise a clean wheel.

Re: New car needs new wheels BAD!
Glenn ,
Did you sell the vehicle or which wheels are on it ?
