was it right to accuse someone of something, I don't know. I know that after I got a reasonable response I felt silly for it, and not because this "Canuck" is not ANT, because nobody knows one way or the other, really. I felt silly because I'm just a guest here too, and if ANT is perusing this board as a way of figuring out what to do with me, (I still want to believe he didn't just lie to my face, I mean who does that?) then the things I've said aren't helping. If it wasn't obvious that Bret made a mistake to the mods, and ANT doesn't care, or worse yet, wants to gain financially from me being banned by selling my signature space, then I probably am better off not knowing the truth. Because that would be depressing.

and honestly, how many really care whether I'm not posting or not? There's a few, maybe. For me to think I had any equity built up as a result of trying to make that place better, by being friendly to the new people, by getting people interested in topics, by posting my audio ideas freely and without a hint of a selfish nature, well, that's me being erroneous. I see that now, it was all for me, not from me. I'm the reason I did those things, I did it to make me feel good and I did it for my own benefit. And for that I got shot in the face, no warning. For that I got branded, I got cast out of ANT's prison yard, where even now the bulls are scopin' out the inmates, looking for another prime target to slay. The next person who gets shot in the face, can thank me for giving them a template of what not to do afterwards.

we appreciate your candor. If it's really as bad as that, in a country where the land is mostly wilderness and people mostly live in cities, then I can see how that might work for socialism-oriented gun control.

There's a lot of rural folks here in the States that make hunting and gun ownership a pastime, maybe their influence is what carries the day to keep the 2nd amendment relevant today.

so it may be due to climate, as much as any other factor why gun control has a tough time of it, our wilderness is not forbidding 8 months out of the year, it's pretty much year round comfortable outdoors down here...
