Moving on to the doors...

Where do you get your plate aluminum? Locally, or online?
The solid one: https://www.amazon.com/RMP-125-3003-...aluminum+plate
The perforated one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-8-Aluminu...cAAOSwGvhUCOb1
Wow! Now that is some excellent work my friend!
That's great info. Debated on doing to that to ours, but couldn't decide if it's worth the effort or not. Will definitely have to revisit the doors now!
Have you had a chance to listen yet? Curious if there is any problem areas we need to look out for far as buzzing or rattles.
Thanks!
I'm not even close to being able to listen to it... :( I still need to do the passenger side door, run all the wires to the trunk, and connect everything (then set the gains, crossovers, etc).
Driving to work this morning, it was noticeably more quiet. Also, the "knock" test between the treated door and untreated door is noteworthy - the treated sounds more like wood while the untreated, of course, sounds like hollow sheet metal.
This Jeep is VERY well sound deadened from the factory, though. I have found lots of cld, mlv and some recycled materials.
P.S. As far as it being worth it? Like I said, it is one of the best factory deadened vehicles I have seen, but one day if you find your door panels off of the vehicle... just do it! ;) :)
Of course, silencing rattles is a different issue. That's a must.
