Interior led kit wiring problems
I bought an interior led kit and it came with a 12v socket which broke so I'm thinking I can use it with just a switch and fuse at this point however the 12v socket had a resistor and a small circuit board? Does anyone have any experience with these?

Re: Interior led kit wiring problems
Just order a 2nd one ! How much will it cost you to buy a 2nd one?
Re: Interior led kit wiring problems
It's probably a diode, which causes the fuse to pop if it was ever wired up backwards.
...or it could be a resistor
Re: Interior led kit wiring problems
Well I might be ordering a second one. I guess, but I might try and get it to work as well.
What interior led kit would you guys suggest? Anything come to mind as really reliable?
Re: Interior led kit wiring problems
A more expensive one ! (might be built tougher, less likely to break/fall apart )
Re: Interior led kit wiring problems
I could see the resistor as being necessary, however is a diode necessary for them to come back on? It all wires into a box that has bluetooth and then splits four ways.
Re: Interior led kit wiring problems
If you can omit the circuit from the way it is designed ? ? ?
Should work just fine !

You know what I use LEDs for ? Flashlights, mostly.
