Notloudenuf's Shower stall retrofit
First off, this is not my usual DIY project(s). I hired a highly recommended tile person. I did not have the time to learn tile and if I did F up then I'd be out the materials cost TWICE and THEN the labor. DIY just didn't seem right for me for this project.

Shower valve finisher and shower head in. We also installed a light in the shower. That was greatly needed

That's it. This is in the master bath attached to our bedroom. We still have the guest bath with the same style fiberglass tub/surround in it.
I looked at doors but talking with several people who have them I decided against it for now at least.
The bathroom is only 60" wide and the toilet sticks out 38" from the wall so it would be a tiny door.

Wow, very nice! I have been thinking about redoing mine as well. How long did it take?
Re: Notloudenuf's Shower stall retrofit
The actual working time was 7 days. The total time was 3 weeks. There was a snafu with the tile order and it wasn't here when they/we were told it was here.
3 days on week 1
nothing on week 2
week 3 worked for 4 days

Throw a pocket door in there, or a sliding door. You will thank me later! Looks awesome!!!
