Tyler Texas SQ events coming
we have 2 shops here that have just conglomerated. The owner of the shop is now thinking that he wants to do a couple shows a year. I would imagine that they would have to grow over time.
Just kinda guaging interest if any would be willing to make a drive to here for one of such shows. If we can get a date set I will post. One of the guys from the shop that is now integrated has a decent competition history.
Re: Tyler Texas SQ events coming
I'm down. That's close enough to not need a hotel room. What org is he thinking about going with?
Re: Tyler Texas SQ events coming
not sure yet. really just in the beginning stages of figuring it all out.
Re: Tyler Texas SQ events coming
I'd make the drive since it's only 4 hours for me.
Re: Tyler Texas SQ events coming
I might be able to make one. If they want to do meca they should contact Jeremy Clutts at Clutts Customs in Denison. He's the regional meca guy and can help out. He would probably love the help :)
Re: Tyler Texas SQ events coming
they are talking march 16 for a date. should be sq and spl.
for any of those that might be interested it will be at Stereo and Video Tyler. I think that date is a Sunday. date not firm as of yet
Re: Tyler Texas SQ events coming
Didn't happen to mention what org did he? I'm guessing usac given the proximity to Todd crowder.
Re: Tyler Texas SQ events coming
James Halter will actually be the one that decides on what the sanctioning body will be and havent spoke with him. I did pass Jeremy Clutts info to them in the event that they be interested in MECA. I am sure they will want this event to be sq and spl if that matter to anyone. when I can get more info I will try to post it up
Re: Tyler Texas SQ events coming
That's probably guaranteed to be usac then.
Re: Tyler Texas SQ events coming
I put the pitch for MECA, not sure how far that will go though. I did suggest that if it was usac that they get some real judges that know sq. could be James himslef judging. And that would suffice for me. Janeese is cool, but not an sq judge for sure
